Before the Virus, we were involved in outreach through the Franklin Institute as volunteers. Since that program is no longer occurring, we are returning to some sites we assisted with in the past. This month we will be hosted by the Columbus Recreation Center.

We are looking to gather our Philadelphia membership and encourage members attending to bring some observing gear.

If your are a new member, binoculars are a great way to start. After our meeting we, if clear we can scout around the sky with binoculars and possibly see the Beehive or Coma Star clusters!

Parking Information: Free street parking may be available around the park. An Acme parking lot is located within a few blocks of the Center, at 1400 E. Passyunk Ave.
