Telescopes are amazing tools but they are unable to see through clouds.
Let’s take this opportunity to gather members and those interested in using their observing gear at future events in the Philadelphia area. Columbus Recreation Center attracts many from the Passyunk area of Philadelpha interested in viewing the night sky. Past events we have conducted here have been met with great appreciation and interest from those attending, many living in the area.
To that end, Shara Gordon (Columbus Rec Center Director) and Ted Williams (Rittenhouse Astronomical Society) will conduct an informal meet and greet at 7:00 PM. Find out how you can help with your astronomy observing gear.
