If clear, personal scopes are a welcome addition but not required.

We are just about to reach the time of the year when astronomers can view all of the Messier objects in one night.  Learn how annual motion and the resulting position of the sun favor March, around the new moon.  So how can you prepare for a night of adventure?

Join us live or by live-stream from the observatory to prepare for our Messier Marathon. Find out what your coming out to if you join fellow astronomy club members at Ryan Observatory. (where can I park, good spot to set up my scope, power supply etc.)
