Members are welcome to set up their own personal gear to observe from our dark sky location.

Plan to arrive at Sunset. Someone from RAS will be visiting the site to verify memberships at Sunset. You may update your membership on site if necessary. You are permitted to observe late into the evening if you wish.

There is no overnight camping permitted at observatory or visitor center. If you are observing past midnight, campsites are available at Muddy Run Campground for overnight stays.

There are no guest speakers or entertainment scheduled, just an opportunity to develop your skill with your gear in a safe dark sky location.
