April 4th - Mercury will be 3 degrees WNW of Venus at a bright -0.6 and -3.9 magnitudes.

April 6th - The last quarter moon will take place tonight.

April 8th - Mercury will be at greatest elongation.

April 9th - The moon will be at apogee (furthest from the Earth) tonight.

April 11th - The moon will be near Jupiter in the morning sky.

April 14th - Our new moon will take place tonight.

April 16th - The moon will be near Venus in the evening sky. Venus will have a magnitude of -3.9.

April 17th - The moon will be near the Pleiades in the evening sky.

April 17th - Mars will be NNE of the Beehive Cluster (M44) tonight.

April 21st - The fist quarter moon will take place tonight.

April 22nd - The moon will be near Mars tonight in the evening sky.

April 23rd - The Lyrid meteor shower will peak tonight. Observers can expect about 10-20 bright meteors per hour tonight.

April 25th - Venus will be 3.5 degrees SSE of the Pleiades.

April 25th - Saturn will be easy to find as it will be right next to the moon in the evening sky.

April 27th - The moon will be near Spica in the evening sky.

April 28th - Our full moon will occur tonight.

April 28th - The moon will be near Antares in the morning sky.
